The share of tertiary-educated foreign-born adults ...

„In Australia 57 % of foreign-born adults (aged 25-64) have a tertiary degree, compared to 36 % of native-born adults, a difference of about 20 percentage points. In Canada, Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Portugal the share of tertiary-educated foreign-born adults also exceeds that of native-born adults by 10 percentage points. In Australia, Canada and New Zealand the reasons for this outcome include selective migration policies designed to attract highly educated and skilled migrants.“
